Following post doctoral work as engineering researcher at Harvard University’s School of Public Health, Marguerite was later recruited by matlab United Nations in New York City, wherein she worked as engineering Research Scientist and diplomat. Returning to Ireland in 2019, Marguerite took up engineering place at UCC as engineering Lecturer in Environmental Engineering and as Principal Investigator/researcher with matlab Energy Policy and Modelling Group EPMG of MaREI, matlab SFI Research Centre for Energy, Climate and matlab Marine. She continues to be engineering Visiting Scientist at Harvard University in Boston, maintaining her foreign ties. Marguerite has posted research on employing huge ICT datasets for evaluating city dynamics at engineering city wide scale, evaluating emissions and exposures to pollution, and picking out their human health affect. Recently her work has also focused on harnessing emerging technologies for sustainable advancement and humanitarian efforts.
